Created in the Beauzac dairy in Auvergne, Saint Agur was born from a desire to reinvent blue cheese. Indeed, blue cheese lovers often found traditional varieties too strong, dry, and piquant, leading them to spread butter on bread to soften the taste. This insight inspired Saint Agur’s unique recipe, offering a mild, fruity blue cheese with an exceptionally creamy texture. Inspired by the region’s basalt rock formations, the cheese took on its signature octagonal shape, setting it apart both visually and in flavor.  Made with pasteurized cow’s milk, Saint Agur balances a mild and fruity blue taste with a smooth and creamy texture. Its versatility makes it ideal for cheese boards, recipes, or simply spreading on bread.
